Patients are normally in and out of the office in 120 minutes or less. Patients have the choice of regular or Deep IV Sedation. The surgical procedure performed by our experienced Physician is normally completed in 3 minutes in a safe and pain free manner. If no one is able to escort you to the office, then local anesthesia injected into the cervix is used to help decreases the cramping and discomfort which generally only lasts 3 to 5 minutes. All abortion procedures are performed by a physician certified by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology.
